START WITH THE END IN MIND...
When we set out to design our learning ecosystem, we made the logical decision to start with the end in mind we developed the CGC Portrait of a Learner which describes 6 Human Capacities that provide the transfer goals for our whole Learning Ecosystem.
These are the "graduating" conceptual understanding, competencies and character traits that our learners will carry with them for the rest of their learning lives. Our goal is that they will be able to make sense of the world and help the world make more sense. The Portrait is the reference point around which we have built our Culture, Curriculum, Community and Context.
