Radical re-engagement through 3-way Learning Modules

In CGC, we are transforming the relationship between all learning stakeholders and between stakeholders and the learning process. When we design a Learning Module we provide 3 interconnected "versions". One is teacher-facing and it's the teacher's primary planning tool. One is learner-facing and helps students understand what they will be learning and why, and how they will be assessed. One is parent-facing and helps parents understand what their children will be learning and why. It also provides the parents with the key vocabulary and with a set of sentence starters so they can have meaningful conversations with their children. 

LEARNING CONVERSATIONS WITH PARENTS

We also lead learning workshops for parents. These engaging experiential events give parents a personal feel for key elements in our ecosystem, such as our 3Cs Learning Definition. They also provide parents with opportunities to share what they really want for their children. Parents have conversations that are both simple and deep... and they also have a lot of fun.
