Our Summer Event Returns

A return to our custom of bringing school leaders together for two days to discuss items and ideas of major interest to us all. This year’s Summit will be held in Panama City, Panama on July 14-15, 2023 at the Westin Hotel. The Summit will also include a meeting of the CGC INNOVATION BOARD

Unlocking the Power of the Practitioner Leader

This interactive, engaging professional learning experience builds our capacity to lead for higher learning impact and lower stress.Together we'll unravel the complexity of leadership and master the systems and structures that provide clarity and confidence. We'll share the key tools of learning leadership, including our new Professional Learning System, designed to replace dysfunctional evaluation approaches with learning-focused strategies that actually improve student learning by informing leadership practices. Participants will receive the CGC Certificate as a CGC Learning Leader.

Understanding the Power of Purposeful Practice

This interactive, engaging professional learning experience builds our capacity to teach for higher learning impact and lower stress.Together we will build a deep conceptual understanding of all CGC learning and teaching systems and strategies, while developing the competencies and character dispositions to put these into regular effective practice. During the course, each participant will be fully supported in developing a high-quality Learning Module, and all participants will have full access to the bank of Modules we develop. We'll leave with the full capacity as peer practitioners to return to our schools ready, willing and able to lead by example all key CGC practices. Participants will receive a CGC Certificate as a CGC Peer Practitioner.
